Mrs. Hendricks and her son, a geologist, lived at this address until 1936 when they moved around the corner to a duplex at 6796 Milner Road where she died in 1953. This Spanish villa consists of 1,734 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The home is traditional in that the living room, dining room and kitchen are on the first floor and the bedrooms are on the second floor. Off of the kitchen there is a separate stairway that leads to an office/bonus room. As the property sits on a downslope, there is a patio off of the back bedroom on the second floor. There is also a separate mother-in-law unit that had an additional bathroom that had been rented out throughout its lifetime.

Actor and producer Jonathan Haze rented the mother-in-law unit in 1960.
